ACTE Leaders Wanted!

The nomination process for ACTE's Board of Directors is now open!  Elections for the following positions will be held in December 2010:

  • President-Elect:  serves a one-year term beginning in July 2011 followed by one year as president and one year as past president.
  • Region I Vice President: serves a three-year term beginning July 2011. 
  • Marketing Education Division Vice President: serves a three-year term beginning July 2011.
  • Adult Workforce Development Division Vice President- Elect: serves a three-year term beginning July 2012.
  • Guidance and Career Development Division Vice President- Elect: serves a three-year term beginning July 2012.
  • Health Science Education Division Vice President- Elect: serves a three-year term beginning July 2012.
In order to accommodate a December election, the nomination process/timeline is changing as follows:
  • Nominations for the 2011 election will begin April 2010
  • Nominations for the 2011 election are due June 15, 2010.
  • Voting will open during Convention and will remain open for 30 days. For the 2011 election, voting will take place in the month of December 2010.
  • Week of January 1, 2011 winners will be announced.
