For over thirty years, the Minnesota Association for Career and Technical Administrators (MACTA) has worked to advance secondary and post secondary education as a student-cente= red, vital component of public education in Minnesota.

 

The Minnesota Association = for Career and Technical Educators ( MnACTE) include= s affiliates representing educators in the fields of Agriculture Education, Technical Educators, Business Educators, Family and Consumer Science Educators, Health Science Educators, and Special Needs Personnel Educators.

 

To these ends, the members= hip of the Minnesota Association for Career and Techncial Administrators in partnership with the Minnesota Association for Career and Technical Educato= rs has developed the following legislative initiatives for the 2007-08 years:<= /p>

 

Secure Resources

MACTA and MnACTE will advo= cate with policy makers to secure the resources to build a world class career and technical education system in Minnesota. To achieve this, the Minnesota State Legislature should:

    Ensure CTE Representation

    MACTA and MnACTE will comm= unicate and advocate with policy makers ensure that career and technical education programs are equally represented in Education Excellence programs funded by= the State of Minnesota. To achieve this, the Minnesota State Legislature should:
